1. New videos only
- Every video must be new and made for this contest, posted between October 15 and November 15, 2026 (11:59 pm ET).
- Videos posted before October 15 don't count, even if you add the hashtag later.
- Videos you already made for Making Happy Couples (paid briefs, past campaigns, ads) don't count.
- Reposts, duplicates and re-edits of the same video count once. That includes the same clip with a different caption, filter or sound.
2. What makes a video count
- Shows the game. The cards, box or board must be clearly visible and part of the video, not just in the background.
- Vertical (9:16) and at least 10 seconds long.
- Good quality: well lit, in focus, clear audio, no watermarks from other apps.
- You're in it. Real people playing or reacting, not just product photos, slideshows or stock footage.
- One idea per video. Splitting one video into several short parts counts as one entry.
3. Tag it right
- Use the contest hashtag (#TalkForHoursContest, #SpiceItUpContest or #WhyNotContest) and tag @makinghappycouples.
- Disclose the partnership with #ad or the platform's paid partnership label.
- Your account must be public so we can see and count your videos.
- A video only counts toward the contest whose hashtag it uses.
4. Keep it on brand
- Fun, playful and respectful. Suggestive is fine, explicit is not: no nudity or sexual acts, and nothing that breaks TikTok or Instagram rules.
- No hate, bullying or dangerous stunts, and no mentioning or showing competitor brands.
- Everyone on camera must be 18+ and okay with being in the video.
5. How we count
- We review entries every Monday and update the leaderboard on the contest page.
- Only approved videos count. Making Happy Couples decides whether a video meets these rules, and that decision is final.
- Videos must stay up until winners are announced. Deleted or private videos are removed from your count.
6. Winning
- The creator with the most approved videos in each contest wins an extra $100 USD.
- Tie: the creator whose approved videos have the most total views wins.
- We announce winners on November 16, 2026 and send payment right away through each winner's preferred payment method.
7. Disqualification
- Buying views or likes, using bots, or posting someone else's content gets you disqualified from the contest.
- Breaking these rules more than once also gets you disqualified.
8. Featuring your videos
- By entering, you agree we can share your contest videos with credit on Making Happy Couples social channels and on this website.
Making Happy Couples can update these rules or end a contest early, and will post any change here.
